Motivation
I’ve been wanting to redo my blog for some time now, my previous posts were quite old. I’m a big proponent of pruning older posts as technology changes and something that worked then, may not now and I’d rather not contribute to leading a person down the wrong path.
Feeling inspired again, I picked up where I left off some time ago and it spiraled a bit 🤣. What exists today started with an blank Hugo theme (my first). Drawing inspiration from other Hugo themes, leaning into Tailwindcss v4. What exists is an exhaustive effort that I fear will never truly be finished, but it’s mine.
I’m sill polishing the edges and striving to curate the content in the voice that I want. So while the site’s redesign mistakenly got pushed to main, the content is still even more of a work in progress than the site’s theme.
While things have slowed a bit, my hope is that this post creates some accountability and holds to me switching some of my posts from draft = true to draft = false.
I’ve been working on a lot of Terraform as of late. More so than has been typical over the last 7’ish years. I’m also revisiting Go and have started creating a GitHub CLI extension, that ties into Terraform. 🤣 I’ve lacked an avenue in getting things in my head out, and my hope is that this blog gives me that space and even more my hope is that I can teach and inspire others.
